Slartysworld?

That is a question. I think a better question might be who is Slarty? For the moment, Slarty is a cross between James Bond, Jimmy Buffet, and perhaps Luciano Pavarotti (and maybe Homer Simpson). A guy that orders a martini in a country western bar or goes to a fancy bar wearing jeans and one of those winter hats with the furry ear covers. He knows what is going on, but does not really want you to know that he knows. That is his secret weapon.
This blog is dedicated to the pursuit of all things Slarty (or whatever seems to entertain me). I imagine it will be all over the map, depending on what I am under the influence of at the time of writing. For instance, I am at work now and am trying to give up caffeine.
It just boggles my mind that I am addicted to it. I don’t drink that much coffee, maybe a cup or two a day. I have been trying to go caffeine free for 2-3 weeks now. Last week I had a fucking headache for the ass-end of the week and it was not until Saturday that I was smart enough to try a cup of coffee. I had 3 cups of coffee on Saturday plus a big ass brownie. You would think I was on a diet or trying to kick crack, and was binging in a massive relapse. Actually, I woke up at 2 pm in the gutter behind Caribou, but that was because I tried to make my cappuccino “Irish.”
Well, my next goal for Slartsworld is to try to get a better layout, this is pretty much the stock format. So if any of the two of you who visit have any suggestions, please let me know. Also, I needs some fricken pictures on here, for instance I could see a big bottle of Jameson floating in this post. And a better font on Windows. And how the hell do you keep track of shit you want to do on your site, but don’t have time to do.
You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

Welcome to the web, Slarty! You might want to try Basecamp for managing this site as a project. I think they have a free version that would be perfect for tracking what you want to do here.
Thanks for being my first visitor. Just for you, I will have an extra shot of two finger…
Hi Slarty. Glad to see the new site is up and running. I feel your pain with the coffee. Withdrawal is an old friend of mine who hasn’t been asked back in a long time, but I seriously love the guy. Wasn’t it Ben Franklin who once said “When the coffee is dark enough, you will see stars.”
