Thanks for posting - I can see why you didn't vote for him. But remember, the man can do no wrong. Did you hear he just cleared himself of all wrongdoing regarding the corruption in Illinois? That was the headline: "Obama clears himself of any wrongdoing." I'll have to remember that one if I ever get a call from the authorities.

Yea, I definitely don't feel as though the process has or will produce a President that will make most voters happy. Maybe the federal government has grown too large for a one size fits all President.

Yeah, I thought that was totally stupid. Even McCain said he didn't think it was offensive or supposed to be offensive. It's exactly what you'd expect from Fiorina though. This election year is such a huge joke.

Electrions are broken at the primaries if you ask me. The major contenders knock each other out in the primaries and we're left with the fringe candidates for the general election. Happens almost every time in at least one or both parties. The whole system needs a major overhaul.

This is very Zen of you, Slarty, and commendable. Intead of struggling against the river, Grasshopper, let it flow around you. Become one with the water. That being said, the dispense-from-the-underside school of TP loading is clearly wrong. But there is satisfaction in knowing that without having to correct it. Thankfully I live in a house united when it comes to this. A clear sign of our compatibility. You know, in all the world's finest hotels you find the dispense-from-the-top method being used. Usually with the end folded into a point for a little panache. It's tough to make a pointy end on your toilet paper roll when it's coming from underneath! Take care, Slarty. You are always welcome to replace the TP roll in our home.

You're partially right, but there's no question that automakers do everything in their power to give cars personality, and the people who buy them are going to buy a car that exhibits the same personality as them.

Have you seen the 2009 Ferrari California? I think some designers have been watching Pixar's movie "Cars" a little too much.

Tough cars often have a grill that almost looks like a grimace, while family oriented cars often have the grill removed almost entirely (read: "my kids have beat me into silence", or "my wonderful children are quiet and behaved."). And lately have you noticed that with the clear lenses headlights look even more like eyes. Is it just a coincidence that as more cars and car design come from Asia the headlights shapes have also started looking more exotic.

So I am starting to lean towards saying that the points about CO2 that Gore makes in his movie are misleading. But it is taking me longer to figure out how to document it without using a source which is more rhetoric and not science.

Also - I created a new set of post categories called Open and Closed questions. I have a few more open questions that I need to add to the site.

I just saw something on HBO about a strip club in Florida that is using a similar tactic to allow women to dance completely nude, because Florida only allows nudity in theatrical productions.
